The Process

When a client approaches us with a private-label project, we follow a series of important steps. These steps help ensure that the final product matches the initial creative vision. Below is a step-by-step breakdown of our process:

Brainstorming

Brainstorming sessions give both parties the opportunity to ask and answer key questions. We may ask things like:

  • What is your MOQ?

  • What’s your ideal delivery date?

  • Caps, bucket hats, or beanies?

  • Any fabric preferences?

This process helps us understand your needs and how we can best support you moving forward. Our MOQ starts at 50 units, and turnaround times can be as low as 25 days. Even if 50 units is too much or 25 days is too long, we would be happy to point you in the direction of someone who can help. We have established connections with decorators and wholesalers across Canada and the USA.

CAD Development

This step involves developing detailed mock-ups that reference the ideas discussed during the initial brainstorming session. Our highly skilled designers will prepare a series of designs for your review. We are also willing and able to provide guidance to other designers and product developers if the designs will be supplied to us instead. Throughout the process, we consult with both our client and the factory to ensure continuity between the CADs and the final product.

Sampling + Quotation

Once the CADs have been developed and approved, we move on to the sampling stage. This step gives the client an opportunity to see their design(s) come to life before proceeding with a bulk order. It’s also a chance to implement any final revisions. At this stage, we can provide a finalized quote; one that accurately reflects the payment terms and logistics.

Delivery of Boxes

Production + Delivery

Once the samples are approved, terms are agreed upon, and the invoice is paid, we move on to the bulk production phase. The production timeline will depend on the products you order. Our team will work closely with you to coordinate logistical terms that are convenient, cost-effective, and efficient.
